Women With Multiple Sclerosis Can Register Today For "Taking Charge" Seminar, A Day of Learning and Sharing on Wednesday, June 13
As a woman with multiple sclerosis, would you like to:
-
Learn strategies to help motivate you toward positive lifestyle changes?
-
Gain insight on bettering your health?
-
Examine new ways to manage stress?
-
Share your successes and learn new ways of coping from other women?
If so, you may want to register today for the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter's upcoming educational retreat for women entitled, "Taking Charge," on Wednesday, June 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The free program features a
variety of workshop sessions including Spirituality and Humor: The
Underestimated Healing; Finding Your Health Self;
A New Look at Stress Management, and a
luncheon complete with round table discussions.
“MS is twice as common in women
as in men and there are noticeable differences in the way women and men
experience MS symptoms, severity and disease patterns,” says Stephanie
Schultze of the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter’s programs department.
“Seminars like this help address these differences, as well as
connect women with one another, which is empowering and fulfilling.”
If you have questions about this
exciting program or would like to register, please contact Jeanette Smith
