Cyclists Needed For MS 150
City To Shore Bike Tour On Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30
Anyone
can drive to Ocean City, NJ, but biking there can be more fun! With plenty of
route options and rest stops stocked with everything a cyclist needs, the MS 150
City To Shore Bike Tour has more than ever to offer for a weekend of
camaraderie. This year’s tour features 45-and 75-mile, one-day options and
150-or 175-mile two-day rides. A ll
routes feature full medical and transportation support, rest stops every 10-15
miles, plus a fully catered lunch and dinner; the only thing cyclists have to do
is pedal! The National MS Society is now offering special early bird
registration fees for those who sign up by September 15. To register or for more

available at any Commerce Bank office and all area bike shops throughout the
Greater Delaware Valley.
All
participants who turn in the required minimum of $200 to support MS research for
a cure receive the National MS Society’s “Certificate Of Completion” and the
official MS 150 T-shirt. Top fundraisers are eligible for prizes including
cycling equipment and clothing, gift certificates and trips for two.
The
MS 150 City To Shore Bike Tour is presented by
Commerce Bank and Subaru. Sponsors for the event include: GSELL Moving
and Storage Company, Wissahickon Spring Water, 94 WYSP, PATCO, KYW-TV3, Regional
Medical Transport, NFI Industries as well as Hostess, Mrs. T’s Pierogies,
Hatfield, UTZ, Sunkist, and Turkey Hill.
Founded
by KYW-TC NEWS ANCHOR Larry Kane more than 20 years ago, the MS 150 City To
Shore Bike Tour is one of the East Coast’s premiere cycling events. Funds raised
through the event support research into the cause prevention and cure for the
disease and provide programs and
