Ghost Tours of New Hope Offers Haunted House Tours; Attend Sunday, October 1, 8:00 p.m. and Proceeds Benefit Those with Multiple Sclerosis

Join us for a ghostly good time on Sunday, October 1, 2000 at 8:00 p.m. at a haunted house tour of historic New Hope. Sponsored by Ghost Tours, Inc., the walking tour begins at the corner of Main and Ferry Streets and includes sites on both Ferry and Mechanic Streets. The cost per person is $8 and tours are held rain or shine. Although the tours are offered every Friday and Saturday evening through November at 8:00 p.m., proceeds from the special October 1st tour benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. For information, please call 215-957-9988. No reservations are required.

Ghost Tours was founded 21 years ago by parapsychologist Adi-Kent Thomas Jeffrey, who has written many books about her experiences in New Hope, including Ghost in the Valley and Haunted Village. According to Adele Gambeel of Ghost Tours, "We do all our own research on any ghostly happenings that may have occurred in these buildings in the past. And sometimes, even though we don't enter any buildings on the tour, psychic experiences occur while we are visiting, much to the surprise of many non-believers.

Ghost Tour employees and their friends donate their time during the special benefit tour so all proceeds can be used to help those with multiple sclerosis. "Many of us have family members with MS, and we want to do everything we can to help," says Gambeel.
