Dateline: October 22, 2001 Join the National MS Society For a Special Webcast Series! October 31, November 1 and 2 The first program, held on Wednesday, October 31 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Central Time is on Employment and MS, and will feature Phillip Rumrill, Ph.D., CRC, who is an associate professor and director of the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University. In addition, Steve W. Nissen, MS, CRC, Operation Job Match Program supervisor from the National Capital Chapter of the National MS Society will serve as a resource and speaker on this vital and relevant topic. The second program, scheduled for Thursday, November 1 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Central Time, is titled, When MS Progresses: Long Term Care Issues. Speakers include Marva Serotkin, MPH, who serves as CEO of The Boston Home, Inc. and Dorothy Northrip, MSW, ACSW, the clinical programs director for the National MS Society. Learn Online host, Rick Turner, will moderate this program. Unraveling the Mystery of MS: The MS Lesion Project is the featured topic of the third program, held on Friday, November 2 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Claudia Lucchinetti, MD, assistant professor of neurology at the Mayo Clinic/Foundation and Richard Paddison, professor and head of neurology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center will discuss this important new Society initiative and provide the latest information on the project. Stephen Reingold, PhD, vice president for research programs for the National MS Society will moderate the program.
