THE NATIONAL MS SOCIETY...ONE THING PEOPLE WITH MS CAN COUNT ON

news bulletin

Dateline:  November 14, 2002

Sewell Resident Offers A Night Of Eclectic Music Entertainment For The Whole Family With “A Night Of Great Music” Fundraiser For MS On Tuesday, December 10 at 7:30 P.M.

It’s not a holiday concert, it’s a night of music so good, that organizer and Sewell resident Gerald Feigin had to call it “A Night Of Great Music”. On Tuesday, December 10 at 7:30 p.m., a cast of local, regional, and international performers will sing and play their favorite music at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, North Monroe and Poplar Avenues, Wenonah, NJ. Concert goers will be treated to a variety of opera, musical numbers, a flute duet, the lively strains of a classical guitarist, piano music, and more! A minimum donation of $10 per person is requested. Proceeds from the event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and over 9,000 area residents with MS. For more information, contact Gerlad Feigin at 856-401-9545.

“An Evening Of Great Music” is Feigin’s second fundraiser for MS. Previously, he had organized a special day at the ballpark with the help of the Camden Riversharks. He first became involved with the fight against MS after riding in the National MS Society’s MS 150 City To Shore Bike Tour two years ago. Since his first ride, several friends came forward to tell him that they had MS, and Feigin found a new purpose in the bike tour. In 2002, with the help of his ballpark fundraiser, he raised over $3,400, and for the 2003 MS 150 Bike Tour, his goal is to raise over $10,000. “I like to give back to people who are helping raise funds for a cure for MS, and one way I do that is by sponsoring big events. By providing a night of eclectic musical entertainment, I hope that attendees will be uplifted by the music, educated about MS, and be moved to help end this disease,” says Feigin.
